International training for enterprise-winning industrial competition of best practices for working with young professionals "Atomoteka"

On June 2nd-8th, 2013, Rosatom Nuclear Energy State Corporation employees who had won Atomoteka, the professional competition in best practices for working with talents, visited the leading energy companies in France and Germany.

The international learning expedition organized by the Rosatom Corporate Academy and the International Association of Corporate Education (MAKO) has gathered 11 representatives of various departments of the state corporation, including one overseas. "It gives hope for the spread of best European practices in the different business units of the nuclear power industry," said Tatiana Krasnikova, Head of Division for Cooperation with Universities and Talents of the company's corporate academy.

During the course of the program the participants shared experiences with the HR and marketing experts of EDF, Alstom, DAHER and E.ON, met with representatives of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the high-tech companies (DLR, Heraeus, Man). In addition, Rosatom delegates worked on the case study of the U.S. oil company Valero Energy Corporation, participated in the training modules, prepared in conjunction with Audencia, one of the leading business schools in Europe, and the engineering school ?cole Centrale, examined the cutting-edge practices in employer branding, cooperation with universities and young professionals.
